Melville, NY, May 10, 2005 - LoBo & Petrocine, the Melville-based marketing communications firm, has been selected by the Irish Coffee Pub to help market their Waterford Room, a private space for weddings and business meetings.

According to Russ Petrocine, President of LoBo & Petrocine, "We're excited about this assignment. By creating a unique identity for the Waterford Room at the Irish Coffee Pub we can more effectively grow their wedding, business meeting and off-site catering business."

Petrocine goes on, "The Irish Coffee Pub is a Long Island landmark. They have a great reputation as one of the most charming, intimate places to go for lunch or dinner. We want to help make the Waterford Room top-of-mind when people think about a place for catered events."

LoBo's campaign to market the Waterford Room includes print and broadcast as well as Internet advertising. According to Petrocine, "A number of people at our agency have experience working in the hospitality industry. That gives us a unique understanding of the marketplace that we will use to make the Waterford Room a wedding and business meeting destination."

The Irish Coffee Pub is located on Carleton Avenue in East Islip. It was recently rated "One of the most romantic restaurants on Long Island" by News 12 Long Island.

According to LoBo President, Russ Petrocine, "When we opened our doors just over two years ago, we were able to manage traffic and production with the staff we had. She was Production Manager for several Long Island marketing firms, including Stillman Advertising, Progressive Marketing, Greenstone Roberts and Rabasca & Co. LoBo & Petrocine Ties Into NBC's "The Apprentice"

Melville, NY, March 4, 2005 - Marketers come up with creative solutions for their clients. That's their job. But in today's rapidly changing marketplace, those solutions don't necessarily come from the creative department. And in the case of a project LoBo & Petrocine recently completed for their client, Bryant & Stratton College, a uniquely creative idea came from the firm's "media mavens."

The result is a TV commercial for Bryant & Stratton specifically created by LoBo & Petrocine to run during NBC's hit program, The Apprentice.

LoBo & Petrocine President, Russ Petrocine, explains, "Bryant & Stratton College has a 150 year history of helping people earn the degree they need to advance in good careers; to, in effect, hear employers tell them, 'You're hired.'" So it occurred to us, why not leverage the popularity of a hit TV show that features the phrase, 'You're fired?'"

But as opposed to just running a Bryant & Stratton commercial during The Apprentice, LoBo & Petrocine took the idea further. First they hired Maria Boren to star in the commercial. Boren was a cast member on the second season of The Apprentice (she was notable for her pixie haircut and no-nonsense demeanor). Then they got particularly creative in terms of where they ran the commercial.

Petrocine explains, "In most markets, our media department was able to have ours be the very first commercial to air right after Donald Trump says, 'You're fired.' Then the spot plays off the show. You see Maria coming out of the boardroom rolling her suitcase. She says, 'If you want to hear you're hired, go to Bryant & Stratton College.' Then she gets on the elevator and leaves.

Petrocine went on, "The commercial is very dramatic and very effective, but the placement was essential. We wanted to achieve an immediate contrast between Trump closing the door on someone's future and Bryant & Stratton College opening another door to a better, brighter future."

According to Tracy Nannery, Bryant & Stratton College's Vice President/Admissions, "This commercial fits perfectly with Bryant & Stratton's goal of giving people the personal education they need to achieve lifetime success."
The Bryant & Stratton College "You're hired" TV spot featuring Boren is running in select regional markets including Western New York, Northern Ohio, Milwaukee and Virginia.

"This idea could never be as effective as it is if there weren't creative thinking from everyone at our firm; from the writers and producers to the media people and, especially, the client, who was essential in securing Maria. You had to have out-of-the-box thinking across the board for this idea to work. We had it, and it all came together beautifully."

Their clients represent a diverse range of industry categories including education, health, natural nutrition, real estate, marine and automotive.
